we didn't stand a chance. apparently, even with 5 of us playing, the 2 computers were still WAY smarter than we were... or just damn lucky. either way, 7 hours of Starcraft, CS, and Wolf later, all i can think of is:

Date: 2003-03-09 08:41 pm (UTC)From:I sooooo know what you mean. After several days playing Ultima 9 I was walking around marvelling at how far out the clipping planes on the world's 3D engine were pushed... I remember thinking god had one helluva video card!

Date: 2003-03-09 08:45 pm (UTC)From:I still get that "move one zone forward" thing off the sidewalk sometimes. Playing Quake too long had me spotting the best hiding places and sniper vantages when walking in a room by reflex. Most entertaining when one realise what one is doing. ;)
