i'm not hiding
Apr. 13th, 2006 05:49 pmfirst week back at a job where i actually have to do more than browse the internet endlessly is tiring me out. with one day to go (oh, how i miss having actual days off for things like Easter!) i'm finally starting to feel my muscles twinging, the main annoyance being my right knee, as usual, which has been behaving itself quite well despite its usual tendency to whine and tighten up. no nerve pinch yet though, so i may retain feeling in my toes tonight.
emotional drama (both at work and online) has been keeping me on my toes and mildly annoyed, and has left me drained. add to that a contract that i really, really don't want to be doing (a small one, luckily, but all about Japanese pork - oh, how fascinating), a doctor's appointment (i've apparently lost 10 pounds since i went in January - good to know my attempts at a healthier lifestyle haven't been totally in vain), and general exhaustion, and i'll bet you haven't seen much of me.
hell, i haven't seen much of me either.
i need to breathe. after my wonderful, if hectic, week off, it's hard to jump back in like this. so i promise, i'll be around again soon. as soon as the endless stream of things to do abates a little, and i've gotten my breath back.
