i've been rereading some old LJ entries from a few years back. now, apart from the vague sense of startlement when i noticed i've had this LJ for over 3 years now, i've come to a few conclusions:
- i'm getting stupider. the quality of my entries has significantly deteriorated from what it was in 2003. this is sad.
- my humor is evaporating. maybe it's because i've become more comfortable with this medium and am not seeking to entertain, but my entries just aren't as funny anymore.
- i've had really bad luck with neighbors.
... and now, for some completely random reason, i have the urge to watch some Red Dwarf.
"If you're in trouble he will save the day
He's brave and he's fearless, come what may
Without him the mission would go astray
He's Arnold, Arnold, Arnold Rimmer
Without him life would be much grimmer
He's handsome, trim, and no one's slimmer
He will never need a zimmer
He's Arnold, Arnold, Arnold Rimmer
More reliable than a garden strimmer
He's never been mistaken for Hugh Brenner
He's not bald and his head doesn't glimmer
Master of the whit and the repartee
His command of space directives is uncanny
How come he's such a genius? Don't ask me!
He's Arnold, Arnold, Arnold Rimmer
He's also a fantastic swimmer
And if you play your cards right
Then he just might come round for dinner
He's Arnold, Arnold, Arnold Rimmer
No rhymes left now apart from quimmer
We hope they fade us out before we get to schtimer
Fade out you stupid flimmer."
