it's the weather, i swear!
May. 3rd, 2004 12:41 ami blame my good mood on the weather. while i dislike heat and humidity, apparently they still have the power to alter my mental and emotional state to a fairly high extent. result? my bitchy mood that i've been dragging around like a lame foot for the past 6 months has entirely evaporated. i'm content, maybe even *gasp* happy. this is not to say i like my job any better, but that's a minor setback. the weather's nice, and i need a change. it's time to shed my skin and become Other.
first step? go out more. already well on my way, thank you. second step? shopping on tuesday. convenient 3 hour break between classes, no? third step? we'll see when we get there. i want new music. new books. new clothes. new hair. new me. =)
concert tonight was good, especially loved the cover of Boys Don't Cry. the atmosphere was great too; met several people i've only known peripherally for a while, and inched that much closer to the goth world that i've been on the fringes of for a while now. still not the most social of people, but i'll adapt ~ i always do.
