*wails* but i don't wanna move!
ok, now that the overreacting is over, nothing to worry about. i've done my typical "this is the worst that could happen therefore i must convince myself it will" moment, so now i should be able to sit back and study the problem (semi) logically. landlord is trying to hike the rent a little too high. while i'm willing to roll over and play dead for fear of losing the apartment, SG is setting up a meeting with the landlord to discuss it. the fact that we're not the only ones upset about the (in my view) unreasonable hike is only a slight consolation. i like this apartment, damn it!
in other news, i'm beyond broke. very, very, very broke. gotta get my act together now. i think i'll call A this week, see if that contract work i used to do is still available. a little bit of easy money, if i can get access to the car... for the rest of it, though, it's just a matter of keeping my spending at a minimum (always difficult with me - there's always something i want!).
looking towards the day when i will no longer be a Chapters employee. i was toying with the idea of quitting sooner rather than later, but with my current financial situation, that's just not an option. so i'll tough it out for a little bit longer, and see what happens. registration schedules become available this week, so at least i'll know what's going on with school by this weekend (though i can't actually register til the end of march, grrr.)
so, what's cheap and entertaining? L2. watching movies i've already purchased. writing. reading (well, not really, but i do have a stack of books i've bought and never gotten around to reading). this is going to be a very uneventful couple of months...
