missed class this morning due to abominable driving conditions; instead indulged in several consecutive hours of Firefly. i lurv that show, damn it. =)

feeling very brain-dead today. i think it's all the paperwork they're having me do at work. *sigh* it's neverending. can't seem to focus, or think, or react properly, yet i'm in a frighteningly good mood. maybe i'll go write something, if i can gather my thoughts from the corners of the room where they went flying when i sneezed. ??? don't ask.

what if everything you've ever said, done, or thought was a lie?

what if you were a completely different person on the inside, and no one knew it? double identities, veiled intentions, crossed wires all around. an endless field of misunderstandings, choking and smothering all sound. each lily-white lie is joined by another, and another, until they surround you like a blanket, filling every part of you, draining you dry of everything you've ever really felt.

alright, i'll admit, i've got nothing. my earrings froze in my ears today, causing sharp lancing pain. i still can't really feel my cheeks or my legs. i hate this weather...

good tidings are sounding all around. books being published, (dare i say?) dream jobs being acquired, spirits lightening. so when does some of this filter down to me?
when will you start working for it?
guess that settles that.
