missed Passport last night.

but between the migraine, the cold, and the fact that i was exhausted by 10pm (i actually went to bed at 11pm!!!), i figured i'd best skip it for once. *sigh* and i wanted to dance, too...

school issues are all worked out. i ended up taking that People & Cultures of Sub-Saharan Africa class, the teacher's great, and the focus is on pop-culture in modern africa, so it might not kill me (though writing a 15 page paper on african art might ~ i'm optimistic, though). everything looks good, i might even enjoy a few of these classes.

Tuesday was a nightmare, which i managed to live through only because i was in such a phenomenally good mood that even Fate's machinations couldn't penetrate my shields. first the demon teacher, then waited over half an hour in the freezing cold of the bus, late for work, coworker not there so i worked the shift alone, hours of paperwork, gah.

i am now in need of a good garnet necklace. i've got my eye on one at Geomania downtown, but it's not quite what i want. i'm gonna check out Pierre de Lune on Monday, provided the temperature's a bit better. anyone got any other suggestions?
