BLIZZARD!

i LURV blizzards. i think it's something to do with the fact that cars make an entertaining "shush"ing noise on pavement, amidst the squeals and careening. i especially enjoy the careening. or maybe it has something to do with nature fighting back and showing man who's really in charge. i dunno. i just love walking in pristine snow, with more whipping into my face, and the feeling of being alone with nature...

day 4 of the killer migraine continues. Advil Migraine buys me approximately 2 hours of relief at a time (on a 4 hour recommended dosage), but i'll take what i can get. needless to say, the new glasses are staying in their case for a few more days. no need to make anything worse.

a few xmas presents left to buy, gotta start baking soon. in the meantime, i finally have a tree, so i'm gonna go sit in the dark with all the xmas lights on and stare out the window at the pretty snow. i love winter -- for the first month or so, anyway.

oh, and the cover Evanescence played on Friday was "4th of July" by Soundgarden.

i have GOT to buy a Krazy Karpet...

or simply steal my old one back from my parents' shed. i wanna go sledding down a huge pile of snow. i want to find a large mountain. i need boots. *lol*

i was half an hour late to work this morning, since my bus didn't show up. walking wasn't an option, as apparently sidewalks are something the city isn't too interested in clearing off. this does not look promising. despite all this, i'm in a chipper mood. i love the snow. it makes me happy. i just want to prance around in it like a 4 year old, making snow angels and tossing snowballs.

only a little bit of xmas shopping left, then i'm all done. i always feel like i should be buying more; there aren't enough presents under my tree, and too many people i can find the absolute perfect gift for in 10 seconds flat. *sigh* i hate being broke.
