Great Big Sea concert rocked. i'm not their biggest fan in regular circumstances, though i did enjoy their live CD; their recorded stuff is just missing something. but they are AMAZING in concert. they are positively the most energetic bouncy people i've ever seen, going for nearly 2 hours nonstop while jumping up and down like madmen the entire time. was much fun, with lots of audience involvement. *silly grin* i even got a fishy t-shirt. =) -- yeah, yeah, it doesn't take much. now if only they'd played "Boston & St.John's", it would've been perfect.
was a l'il insulted when _ decided that giving me and 'fana a lift home would hurt his precious car (which i kind of expected, but nonetheless stung, considering 'fana and I waited 2 hours in line and got a nice table and they showed up only 45 mins before show started.) but i'm over that. it's only a mild annoyance. *shrug*
'fana and i proceeded to wander downtown for a few hours. stopped by Hurley's for a bit, but was VERY crowded. stood it as long as i could, then dragged her out. they had a very good Celtic band, but by intermission there were so many people i couldn't take it any more. why is it no one ever takes my psychoses seriously? when i say i can't take it anymore, it's cause i can't... =(
spent an hour walking around after i got back to the WI, trying to avoid coming home. luckily, all was quiet when i finally stumbled in at about 3am. thank the gods for small mercies.
