productivity
Oct. 2nd, 2008 04:38 pmi'm debating doing NaNoWriMo this year, for the first time. my motivation levels have hit rock-bottom, and i had an interesting idea for a story that's completely unrelated to anything i've previously thrown together. i figure, what have i got to lose? even if i don't finish, i'll be that much further ahead in a story that interests me but that i otherwise have absolutely no time for. still in the debating stage, but yeah. a definite possibility.
other than that... i've come down with a cold, but am thankfully no longer feverish. work has been particularly demanding this week as i struggle to fix everybody's problems. i know i should just take a step back and let things take their course, but i'm unable to let it go if it's something i can fix. and since my team has been so bored these past few weeks, it's nice to be doing something productive and useful. even if it means fixing something that'll just have gone to hell in a week or two again. cycle of life (or in this case, cycle of incompetence).
