movie update
Sep. 16th, 2008 06:14 pma few of the Cineplex theatres are running Anime Mondays. last night, i managed to catch the first Death Note movie in Kirkland (unfortunately dubbed, but beggars can't be choosers, i suppose), with Death Note 2 scheduled for a screening in mid-October. also on the playbill for the near future is the 2nd Bleach movie (which has me thinking, naturally, that they'll also be showing the first). there's little to no advertising for this at the moment, but keep an eye out over the weekend for the Monday night listings.
Let the Right One In is scheduled for an actual cinema release October 24th. if it goes anywhere but AMC or du Parc, i'll be very surprised, but it means we can catch it in a non-FantAsia setting.
and for those who missed it the first time, Repo! the Genetic Opera is also getting a proper release November 7th.
it's a good season for movies, apparently.
