booklist November 2007
Dec. 1st, 2007 05:16 pmBook list for November 2007. so very, very sad.
* Where the River Narrows by Aimee Laberge. reads like a schizophrenic Quebecois Christmas party. so very, very not impressed.
* The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman (reread). just trying to refresh the story in my head before the movie.
* Stray by Rachel Vincent. for a first-time author, she's good. the main character is a little too whiny for my taste, and the book reads like the author just put down Kelley Armstrong's "Stolen" and decided to write something the same, but different, but for all that, i enjoyed it quite a bit.
