quiet long weekend at home made me actually RELAX. long days filled with nothing much in particular - WoW, tv, exercise, good friends, housework. i suppose all it really takes for me to relax is a lack of demands on my time, coinciding with my own willingness to stay home.
now if only the snowstorm outside would disappear, all would be right with the world.
oh, and the new show "Drive" is awesome. why, you may ask?
#1 - the first two characters onscreen: Nathan Fillion and the man who played Jubil Early on Firefly (the creepy man in the red suit). much glee.
#2 - Tim Minear, executive producer for Firefly, has a heavy, heavy hand in this
#3 - i'm sure, somewhere in the production team, there is someone who works/ed on Heroes; the whole show feels like a disturbing mix of Firefly, Heroes, the Fast and the Furious, and possibly Lost thrown in for fun and profit.
and since they were intelligent enough not to slot it into the same timeslot as Heroes (which i half-feared, when they announced it would be playing on Mondays) i think it'll do very, very well.
edit::
and i hit 65 in WoW. finally. and got an AWESOME staff, thanks to an old-fashioned smackdown match with some entertaining beasties. whee!
