is it wrong that i still love Evanescence?

i love Amy Lee's voice. i fell in love with it before Evanescence hit it big, before the mass media and publicity, before they redid the whole of the Origin album and distorted it to sound more "mainstream". the girl has a gorgeous, soaring voice, and manages to infuse emotion into her (decidedly emo) songs.

what does it say that the one single they've released so far is the worst song on the album?

i am weak, but i love it. i have a weakness for soaring (not opera!) vocals over metal/industrial guitars.

... i'll be bored with it in a week, i'm sure, but for now, it's been a while since i've wanted to curl up with my earphones and just listen to a singer's voice.
