the warm glow of the sun...
Jul. 30th, 2006 09:10 pmthe subtle feeling of warmth on my skin and the slightest twinge in my muscles makes me smile. there's just something about spending the day outside with good friends, the sun on your back and the sand between your toes...
believe it or not, i used to be quite the outdoor, country girl. i blame Candiac for my current scholarly, city state, where i've lost my monkey-like ability to climb any tree/swing set/whatever you put in front of me. i used to swim in the lake every day for two years, but now i flinch when a fish tries to eat the edges of my bathing suit and algae floats in front of my face. i like to blame puberty, but really, i blame the loss of my playground. culture shock, as it were. Candiac is certainly not Tremblant Village, and everyone in Candiac was a city-kid. meh. it makes me sad.
that said, more outdoor stuff please!
