April Reading List

Book list for April 2006.

This is a very sad list. it's been a busy month - and hence a slow one for reading. it also doesn't help that i'm over halfway through 2 books, but they don't count, since i haven't actually FINISHED either yet.

* The Queen of Attolia by Megan Whalen Turner
* The King of Attolia by Megan Whalen Turner
* Twilight Rising, Serpent's Dream by Diana Marcellas (part 3)
* Raven's Shadow by Patricia Briggs (not nearly so bad as i thought it'd be... she can't write, but she's got very interesting ideas.)

you'd think...

i would have had enough of sunlight over the weekend, but it calls to me from just outside the window, bright and warm and full of vitamins i've no doubt been deprived of all winter.

friday was rubythirtythree's vernissage, which was lovely, as usual, and a good/bad outing to Saphir for good music and way (and i mean WAY) too much smoke.

spent Saturday running around with fordcov and friends. a visit to the Marché Jean-Talon ended in a gigantic stirfry (my kitchen is WAY too small for that) and several episodes of Samurai Champloo.

a quiet Sunday spent with SG roaming the Old Port and Chinatown was just what i needed.

Beltane has been good to me this year.
