New girl - i went to 5 elementary schools. in my own mind, i will always be the new girl.
Nemesis - one of my favorite novels, "In Conquest Born" by C.S. Friedman, is the tale of two people, each the perfect nemesis to the other. i love the idea of these two people evolving in such a fashion as to always outwit the other; it gives purpose to their lives.
New Brunswick - my ancestry on my maternal side comes from New Brunswick; my maternal grandmother was Acadian, and i find that whole part of Canadian history fascinating.
Nocturnal - need i say more?
Nondescript - i am invisible much of the time. and, much of the time, i enjoy it.
Notebook - i have a fetish for notebooks. i always have a collection piled somewhere on a shelf, waiting to be used. i always carry a notebook with me, just in case.
Nightmares - when i was young, i used to have nightmares about crocodiles, wolves, and fire.
New York City - this remains the only trip i can really claim to have made on my own (or nearly;belfana was with me). i saw Rent, watched the Cartoon Network, and hunted for Hot Topics high and low.
Nero - the last of the Julio-Claudian line which fascinates me so and drew me to the Roman classical world. he's also, for some reason, one of the few of that family on whom i can find biographies.
Nature - i love nature. one day, i plan to live outside the city (preferably up in the Laurentians) and own a large quantity of land, with a lake and a forest. all this concrete makes me crazy.
