icon-y goodness

i poked around a bit yesterday after seeing a few posts on the newly added Loyalty icons, but as nothing had changed on my end, i resolved to wait a little. but now, the madness begins:

some valid points... and a rant.

i've finally gotten some kind of answers on what to do to improve my chances at Western next year. and while most of them make sense (take some Canadian history, take more history courses, look into the Public History program at Concordia - we have one??!) and seem encouraging, one point is making me crazy.
