finally remembered to post this...
Feb. 21st, 2006 09:12 amdriving back and forth to the South Shore over the weekend was entertaining, if only for the aftermath of Friday's windstorm.
a CP rail train travelling along the Mercier train bridge on Friday was forced to stop when several cars were derailed by the high winds and threatened to fall into the river. they were left hanging out over the water for several days. as far as i know, this got little to no media attention, until they started clearing it yesterday.
