Toronto was an overall disappointing city, though the zoo was nice. i return with a general impression that i am awfully lucky to live in Montreal and there is no reason for me ever to set foot in T.O. again.
1- everything in T.O. is under construction. EVERYTHING.
2- food is plentiful, until you're looking for it.
3- there is no point in going to a museum when they are under construction. (the ancient coin display had pictures of the coins. pictures. with empty spaces where the coins should be. *glare* but i wanted to see the Alexander coins!!)
4- Comfort Inn is in no way comfortable, though i've never had problems with them before.
5- it smells bad.
6- you can identify the Montrealers by who jaywalks and who doesn't.
7- the zoo has lots of pacing cats. all the large cats were pacing. it was rather interesting.

and that's all i've got to say. can't wait til August...
