isolation season
Jan. 29th, 2005 10:57 amthe cold has settled in to stay, and any possibility of socializing has just been reduced to %10 or less. it's depressing and lonely. i haven't been out to a club in months, and forget just deciding "i wanna go out". it all takes PLANNING in winter. and money. let's not forget that ever-lacking commodity. *le sigh*
is it spring yet?
as soon as the weather warms up a bit (meaning i can open windows) i'm going to pull out some paint and get some color into my living room. i've never bothered to paint any of my previous apartments, due mostly to the fact that we were desperate to get out of there and it seemed like a phenomenal waste of time. but as we're not planning to pick up and move anytime soon (hopefully there'll be a house in the somewhat near future), i've grown awfully sick of white walls everywhere i look. it's cold and impersonal, and vaguely stressful. i'm thinking a nice dark olive color for the living room, and i'll work my way along from there.

level 15 in WoW. so far, not particularly fond of Auberdine (just generally disappointing) except for the Highborne ruins, which are filled with undead banshees 'n stuff... =D beats fighting giant crabs anyday.
