*thud pinch sigh*
Jun. 8th, 2004 06:32 pmstrange day. went in to school to hand in my essay, then drove SG to the dentist, only to be handed a prescription and told to come back next week. now i've gotta figure out how to maneouver the car out of my dad til then... but i've also got exams coming up, and i seem to be lacking the right materials. i'm also horribly behind on my reading, and completely unable to do it.
why, you ask? because it's awfully difficult to concentrate when it feels like your knee is being slowly ground up in a vise. i really wish i knew what triggered these pains, so i could bloody well stop doing it. it mostly hits me when i'm driving, but not after a lot of driving, so it's not the driving itself that does it. i'm fairly certain it's a pinched nerve, since my toes and lower leg get that uncomfortable half-tingly feeling you get when your leg wakes up from being sound asleep. it kinda pulses and generally is very obnoxious. nothing helps: changing position, elevation, or whatever doesn't do a thing to help. only problem is, it can't be a pinched nerve cause then it wouldn't be recurring. hmm. and i get it in both legs, though its usually my right one that acts up.
so tonight, i'll sit and try to study, then abandon that. anybody wanna go see Harry Potter with me? i still have my car, and it's cheapy night...
