and then there were three.
Mar. 1st, 2004 11:21 pmonly working a three day week, since i took Sunday off and i was forced to take Thursday as well to attend that lecture. luckily it sounds vaguely interesting, so i don't mind too much. easing back into things, as they say.
of course, writing this paper is going to kill me. it feels so easy. i think i could write it in my sleep, and that scares me. i didn't get nearly as good on the first one as i thought, so now i'm nervous about the second one. yet i don't know what to do differently, what to fix. all the teacher did was circle useless adjectives and replace them with others, or write "elaborate please". how exactly do you elaborate when the paper can only be 500 words? and what the hell is the difference if i use "only a few years following" instead of "in the years following"? talk about nit-picking. *sigh* i deserved better.
so, after a lovely walk to work, a boring evening at work, a lovely walk home from work that wasn't completely spoiled by the car which decided the contents of that muddy puddle would look better on my pants, and a quick check to LJ, i guess i should actually write the damned paper, right? or maybe i'll just put it off til tomorrow...
