in other news, the Lineage II North American Beta is now up and running (as of last night), and the game itself is in preorder stage. to get into the Beta, you pretty much just have to preorder the game (which can be done at EB Games in any mall ~ most of them have the Beta CDs left in stock). a deposit of 5-10$ is required, but you don't have to pay the full cost of the game (something like 70$) until it actually comes in (end of April for Canada).

it's amazing, everything's in English! a bunch of us experimented with the Korean Beta a while back, and fell in love with it. beautiful graphics, interesting gameplay, lots of quests, etc. so far, Lindvior, SG and I are all up and running. it still crashes a bit, but it is a Beta, after all.
other than that, nothing much going on over here. not looking forward to going back to work. i've got a paper to write sometime early this week. likely won't be at Passeport this week, due to monetary constraints and the fact i may have to work on Thursday morning (i have a lecture to attend at 8:30 on Thursday. only problem: the teacher didn't specify if it was AM or PM). grr. either way, i've gotta be up Thursday morning. *sigh*
