interesting proposition.

i'm thinking of doing the online writing marathon tomorrow. the aim: just write 1000 words an hour, for 6 hours, posting hourly on LJ. it starts at noon.

if i'm awake at that hour, i think i'm going to give it a try. anyone else interested? phthisic? =D

other than that, skating is fun! it occured to me that i haven't been since my college years. definately too long. i've learned two important lessons today: 1) hockey skates are infinitely better than figure skates. 2) i am not entirely satisfied until i've attempted several tricks, bruised myself silly, and smiled like an idiot the whole time.

so it doesn't look like i'll be doing the writing marathon today, due to unexpected wrenches thrown by countless monkeys into the metalworks. *mmm.. monkeys* unfortunately, grocery shopping, clean clothing, and passing grades in at least a few of my classes will have to take precedence. though i am thinking of taking a rain-check on this: who's to say we can't get several of us together and do this some other day (preferrably in the evening), just as a personal challenge to ourselves? i, for one, would appreciate the structure 'n stuff to get me writing something, anything. even if it's crap, i can always make it better later. gods know, i spend enough time editing my stuff anyway.

the exit exam was a joke. sillier questions i could not have imagined. *sigh* now, if they can decipher my handwriting (which i took extra care to make extra legible) i should have no problem. now all that's left between me and graduation are four classes...

*growl*

so, after much flaunting that my neighbors are so much quieter, etc, etc earlier today, said neighbors have decided that music is better when you can't hear yourself speak. *resigned sigh* well, at least my chair isn't vibrating, so it's still a step up from my old place. and as SG is once again exhausted (am i the only one who finds it hilarious that he has to get up before i do every day? *lol*) i'm gonna go see a movie by myself. Cold Mountain, i think. looks alright; decent way to kill time, anyway, since i can't even sit at my comp without the music creeping through my headphones.

ah well. off i go.
