ick.

i'm sick. i hate being sick. stupid chest congestion won't let me sleep, or swallow, or breathe. *growl* makes me growl quite nicely though...

clubbing last night was great, once we'd gotten over a few difficulties. hadn't been to Sapphir since before Xmas; i remembered it as much more pompous than it was. maybe it's because i'm slowly becoming accustomed to the vibes and emotions of a goth club from my weekly jaunt to Passeport, but i thoroughly enjoyed the evening at Sapphir. i think it's the first time i've ever gone there and NOT felt like an outsider. hmmm.

the music was especially great, they played everything we wanted to hear (except one song, which i can forgive them, as they play it every week at Passeport). they even played some stuff i hadn't heard in a long time, like Breathe by Prodigy. very high energy, very fun. Head Like a Hole had AMAZING energy to it... people at Passeport are too shy or withdrawn to give it the right energy...

alright, enuf. am gonna go flip aimless channels and continue to ignore my homework.

Saphir?

The one time I ever went was with rotagar and a couple of our female friends, one of whom is the Ape, a hardcore paintballer. We went after a paintball outing, and while Ape had gone hom and showered (because she was a girl, she said, when we asked why), rotagar and I were still in blackfatigued army-booted mode, and still kind of splattered with paint and sandy to boot. The four of us got there, had drinks, and eventually wound up all tangled up in a four-person sexually ambiguous dogpile on the sofa... It was kind of fun; the two goth chicks and then us, all kinda in one big cuddled heap, just tired and vegging and enjoying the music and watching the people...

Was a good time.
