strange day. strange life.

SG and I actually attempted some boxing day shopping, but ended up just doing groceries instead. nothing appealing anywhere, and lineups just weren't worth it for things we only half-wanted. ended up ordering pretty things online though: a lovely flat-screen monitor for him (he got a cheque from his parents, so he felt obliged to spend it, *lol*) and he kindly bought me the Firefly box set that i was gonna pick up myself. *twitches while waiting for the pretties to arrive*

dropped in at Trix's bash, it was lovely, SO MUCH TASTY FOOD! O_o i'm so stuffed. *groan* missed a few people though, and corrupted a few more with random Voltaire songs...

so here's the grand total of Xmas acquisitions (gods, it just took me a full minute to remember that word).
* Pirates of the Caribbean DVD
* Very Best of Sheryl Crow CD
* pretty pretty skirt from Dragon Rouge (which, unfortunately, is one size too small and must be hemmed when i get the right size)
* TONS of chocolate and chocolate products (let me just say now, the Pot of Gold Mint box is tasty...)
* a penguin for my television *rotfl*
* Firefly box set
* a lovely sketch that i must remember to hang on my wall where i can laugh at the expression on his face
* new glasses
* other random stuff that i can't remember now

all in all, a good year. i'm very pleased with my loot - i don't usually get such good stuff at xmas. and 'fana's still to come... *rubs hands together in glee*

other than that, feeling a bit better. i'm a bit more relaxed, if a little melancholy. things are starting to wear thin, but i'll pull through. i am the rock, remember? (and people say they don't resemble their cars? well, i haven't driven the Blazer really for a year or two...)

trying to put together a new website. any suggestions what to put on it? i'm toying with a few things, but can't seem to make up my mind. shall i be geeky? nerdy? artsy? goth? all of the above? *lol*
