Jun. 7th, 2003 12:07 pmhave decided to take it easy on Passeport for a little while. the novelty is going, the people are getting overwhelming, the music just isn't doing it for me anymore. similar reasons why i didn't like Odyssey, truth be told. just my own random silliness kicking in. i think i enjoy the anonymity, the facelessness, the ability to go just to dance. *shrug* nothing against anyone i know - it has nothing to do with you guys. and i WILL be putting in the occasional appearance at Passeport: old habits die hard, after all.
think i'm gonna try my hand at Parking again. i've only been twice, but i REALLY enjoyed those times. Thursday nights was inconvenient, though, so i stopped going. but now, as i'm off on Fridays, no such problem anymore... anyone care to join?

my psycho upstairs neighbors have moved out. no more running water at all hours, for hours; no more weird shuffling walk; no more strange machinery noises at 3 am. the new people, on the other hand, have a small child. IT RUNS... *kill me?* LOUDLY. i can't seem to figure out if it lives there or not, though. i keeps coming and going... other than that, though, they seem quiet. still, i'm counting the days til i'm outta here, with no one above me but the sky... *longing sigh*

yesterday was good; watched Animatrix with SG, Ford, and Phthisic. it's been a while, dude. i'd ask why we drifted, but neither of us likely would ever agree on the answer. i also realized you prob'ly think it was all my fault. *mischevious grin* let's call it a truce, then? and, for the record, i have now given up my absolute refusal to watch Farscape. maybe all i need was a good episode. i'm intrigued (despite myself).

so today will likely be taken up by packing, cleaning, etc. lots to catch up on, lots to do. not much free time before July 1st for someone who works 5 days a week and goes out fairly often. that, and the act of packing makes me feel like July 1st is coming faster.
