wrapped in red tape...
Jan. 15th, 2003 10:00 pmonce again, my ability to tangle myself so tightly in red tape that i can't find the way out has been my undoing. why does bureaucracy hate me so much? why is it so bloody difficult to get concert tickets refunded? *sigh* apparently, now i have to deal directly with the venue rather than with admissions, because admissions is run by a number of evil, stubborn, pig-headed creatures (with the exception of that first guy i talked to, who was very nice and gave me tips on how to bypass the system. unfortunately, none of these actually worked, but it was a nice gesture none-the-less).
so now i have to drag myself down to Foufs at 6 pm on Friday to get my money back. If this had all been for just one ticket, i would have given up long ago (which is exactly what they want, i guess). but 5 tickets = $125. i need that money, damn it! So Belfana and I will be heading to Foufs after work on Friday, then down to Hurleys to await people, beer, and the Mahones. (in whatever order). i've invited numerous people, most of whom prob'ly won't show up, but that's okay. the more the merrier, but it's their loss.
fire, you coming?
