i wasn't feeling so well at work today, so a co-worker decided to load me full of sugar, in the form of those wonderful rockets candies. he bought a 4 pound bag... (!!) needless to say, i felt better a few hours (and many, many candies) later.
so i'm very high on sugar (as is the rest of the staff, since he was being quite generous with the sugar) when the power goes pop and goes out. i, once again, prove that i work well in a crisis and manage to get everyone out of starbucks and the 2nd floor with a minimum of fuss and no panic or screaming, then proceed to sit downstairs with 'fana and the cashiers. turns out we blew a circuit or a fuse or something. we didn't know til after that we took out half the mall with us (hehe). i'm quite impressed...
scratching post was a blast last nite... was good to get out of the city, if only for a few hours. not that ottawa is all that exciting, mind you, but there's a different atmosphere from montreal. was fun, must do again. *bows to ford* for some reason, i've been bowing a lot today... must've flipped the "mediaeval" switch in my head again by accident...
