Lots of fun reading in here, but very few "intelligent" books.

* Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card (sci-fi)
* Speaker for the Dead by Orson Scott Card (sci-fi)
* Moon Called by Patricia Briggs (werewolves!)
* Changelings by Anne McCaffrey & Elizabeth Ann Scarborough (fantasy/sci-fi - not one of her best)
* Shadows in the Darkness by Elaine Cunningham (fantasy-mystery)
* Shadows in the Starlight by Elaine Cunningham (fantasy-mystery)
* The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner (kids-fantasy)
* Claudius the God by Robert Graves (historical fiction)
* Buying or Leasing a Car by Consumer Reports (who said this had to be only fiction? useful books!)

Ah Orson Scott Card...the four original books of the Ender series were brilliant. The Bean series started out strong and fizzled out. And everythign else I've read by Card is a little wanky...still...good stuff.
