worst. timing. ever.

i swear, the contract work i do has the worst timing i've ever seen. they always call when i least want to be doing extra work (but usually when i'm in need of extra cash). small project this time, thank the gods, but still. i just don't wanna. *grumbles*

oh, and on a completely random note? telling myself that having a week off is a good time to tackle a classic novel doesn't work. i have been conquered by the Aeneid. at least temporarily.
