well, it's been a while.

everyone's out with family or friends this weekend. SG's working again tonight, with tomorrow off. i work tomorrow, as always. my holiday traditions continue. too bad my family has never been much of one for holidays except christmas.

spent a quiet night ignoring everything, watching tv, and watching The Missing last night. decent movie, but nothing great. i alternate between randomly hating Cate Blanchett and then finding her beautiful and powerful. *shrug* maybe i'm just nuts.

feeling detached, kinda broken. i've lost any sense of time, of reality. i think the work-related bubble i've put up has become a permanent fixture, at least unless something jarring comes to break me out of my shell.

nothing to say, really. anybody got any suggestions for new music? i'm getting bored...
